Fiancé(e) Visas
 

The U.S. Consulate General in Vancouver processes fiancé(e) (K1) and spouse (K3) cases for citizens of Canada, or aliens who are Canadian permanent residents. Applicants must also be residing in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, the Yukon or the Northwest Territories. All other applicants in Canada are processed at the U.S. Consulate General in Montreal.

If you have a K1 or K3 visa application pending at the U.S. Consulate General in Vancouver and you have received a letter from us asking you to download Packet 3, please download Packet 3 (68KB PDF).

Please note that we do not accept phone inquiries on K1/K3 visa issues. If you have an inquiry on a specific case, you may contact us by mail or e-mail. If you wish to file a fiancé(e) petition (I-129F), please note that you can only do so by mail. Forms and filing instructions can be downloaded from the U.S. Citizenship & Immigration Service website.
